Guidos (formerly Pizza Rolandi)
This lovely restaurant is still run by the founding family, 22 years of
dedication shows in a selection of Italian cooking with an exquisite
mix of local ingredients and fresh seafood. The thin crust pizza from
the wood-fired oven is outstanding. Guido's is a comfortable yet elegant
restaurant with an open air courtyard garden. It truly deserves special
recognition...just ask the locals.

Lobster House-
La Cabana del Pescador
If you are in the mood for fresh lobster, this palapa restaurant with seashells
and nets hanging from the walls is a another local favorite. Diners choose
their lobster, then it's weighed and served with bread, potato, and vegetables.
At the end of the meal, an eggnoglike drink is served called Ixtabentun which
is included in the meal price. There is nothing else on the menu except drinks.
Outside, the geese mill around the garden and pond. If you're so inclined,
feed the leftover breads to the geese or cross the gangplank bridge and try
out...
El Guacamayo King Crab House. Located right next door, this sister establishment
serves a less expensive menu of king crab.

This nautical style restaurant has a relaxed romantic atmosphere and tall windows
with an exceptional view of the waterfront and sunsets. If you're in the mood
for prime rib and a salad bar, this place fits the bill. Also, look for Caribbean
seafood dishes such as lobster, shrimp flambe, shellfish grill and steaks.
When cruise ships are in port, reservations are recommended.
